Surprise!!!

Hello all,
Due to multiple requests I have now updated the blog.
So first the wedding was awesome, it rained a bit but at least everyone wasn't soaked with sweat. But for the what people really care about the honey moon, it was amazing and everything we could imagine, If we didn't have the kids I am convinced we would have said "screw it" and just stayed.

Jen Cried she was so happy when she saw the room. The view was just out of this world, and I cried when I saw the free mini-bar. The food was amazing and the views were pimpin.
So I hope to update a little sooner next time, I hope at least to do it once a month instead of once every three. And my co-workers have basically threatened me that if I don't they will key my car.... And its a pretty nice van so...

The Wedding draws near

Yes we are less about 3 weeks away from THE WEDDING. I am excited and especially for the honeymoon...

Things are getting crazy, we were supposed to get invitations out this last Monday however Brynlee had a 104 fever and we were in the hospital. She has had 4 ear infections in the last 6 months and we are considering putting tubes in her ears :(
I am a little nervous about this but she gets so sick from these infections, this last one was resistant to a very powerful antibiotic so it may be the best plan of action.
But to stay positive we are excited about the wedding, here is Brynlee's dress she will be wearing.

Weddings

Well Jen and I are planning the honeymoo... I mean wedding and its going well. We took our pics for the invitations the other day and I am currently trying to pick out rings. Here is the one I am thinking about, I like the rings that are really unique looking, if any of you have any links to cool rings let me know.
And of course the latest pics

First Slurpee

Hi yall,
Brynlee had her first slupree yesterday and totally freaked out.

We just got back from Cedar City where Taylor and the Fusion got a Silver medal in the Utah Summer games. Don't get me started on how they got screwed in the final game because the f-ing refs are..... okay sorry had to step away and cool off. Anyways they played awesome and have the gold medals in my mind.

How the heck are ya?

My Fam

Hello all,
I have finally focused up and got some pics of the rest of the fam. And damn we are a good looking family, yes I know that I am the weakest link but thats okay. I make up for it with my wit and charm. Anyways I'm planning my retirement around the kids, Taylor the oldest is going to be in professional soccer. I know what your thinking "there isn't much money in pro soccer!". But think -David Becham- I mean look at the kid he has girls all over him already. Alec who is soon to be 9 will probably be scientist or business tycoon, or .... a professional pokeman player. And Brynlee could be a model (smart model), volleyball or B-ball player.
Screw a 401k I'm buying a harley, I've got my kids.

The current stats

Hello all out there.
Just took Brynlee to her 1 year appointment with the pediatrician and I am happy to report that she is doing great in all departments. She is 32 inches long, 23 pounds 11 ounces, and I can't remember what her head size is although its in the 50th percentile. her weight is in the 75th percentile and her height is not surprisingly in the 99th percentile. WNBA here we come! Although Jen says she wants Babygirl to be a model I have few reservations about this potential outcome for her.
Aren't all models dumb??? (see Tyra Banks). The doc says that she is very smart however because she is so curious about everything.
Lets see any new stories....
Took baby girl to work for all to see and she had a good time. Antje played with her and helped clean up her crayon mess.
I also noticed today that Babygirl will imitate some of the words I say which is a good sign developmentally.
Anyways here are a few more pics, I need to pic up the pace on getting more photos.

"how to meet people" -- have a baby

Its funny how friendly people are when you have a baby, in the elevator today this lady couldn't resist smiling and talking to Brynlee. All of a sudden this total stranger is your bestest buddy. This is odd for me being a scary looking giant, most people are that open to talk.
However witht he edition of a cute little girl all of a sudden many nice perks are available. For instance: 1- I feel like a pregnant lady based on how many doors have been opened for me lately. Some guy who looked like a gang banger opened the door when I had Bryn with me this morning. 2- God I feel social again! I never knew there were so many nice people in the world, I thought they were just a bunch of nameless drones that can't drive. But I now get to see the softy side of every person that talks to babygirl. 3- I now have something in common with every parent, we get to compare notes on- number of teeth, theories about bedtime, diaper changing (which isn't that bad all you wussy dad's), etc.
Wow its fun being a parent

Its been a long time...

Well hear is a new pic and below are some even newer ones so keep looking.

I was sitting at home last night around 10:45 pondering why baby Bryn wasn't sleeping when I asked Jen "Does she ever stop?" I already new the answer.. NO. Only if she is really tired or sick, she will then lay in your arms with no resistance. However if neither of these stipulations are in place, you've got your hands full, this baby will get into anything and everything that isn't nailed shut, she will get into the cupboard open the cereal.. eat a little bit dump it on the floor and move on.
And whats the deal with the fascination with freakin' dog food!? Dude.... she waits for you to slip on your baby watching game and she's off! Dog food all over, in the mouth, down the clothes... And I love every minute of it.

Kisses

I think I can safely say that Brynlee knows her first word. I would say that it is "no" but she still does whatever she wants when we say it anyway.
The first word she knows for sure; "Kisses".
If you ask you shall receive the variance of two, no three types of kisses from babygirl. The first being the traditional "closed mouth" type, the second being the open mouth "I am trying to eat you" kiss. And the third is the "tongue out of my mouth I'm going to slime you" kiss.
They are all adorable and so fun to get!.
